Mary Pat Kelly at the Boston Public Library

galway bay book

Author and filmmaker Mary Pat Kelly reads from her new book, Galway Bay, at the Boston Public Library on Sunday, February, 15, 2009 at 2pm. Galway Bay is based in the story of Kelly's great-great-grandmother who escaped with her family from the Great Starvation of 1840s Ireland. A reception at Sólás Bar, Boylston Street, follows. This event is co-hosted by the Consulate General of Ireland, Boston and The Eire Society of Boston. It is free and open to the public.
